How do I get to Evi Rooms from the port of Paros Island?

By bus: There is a frequent bus service between Parikia/port and Alyki. The bus terminal in Parikia is situated at the port. The bus journey is about 20 minutes. The rooms are just 300m away from the bus stop. For updated information on the bus schedule and prices, please check the Paros public bus website: www.ktelparou.gr.
Paros airport is just 1 km away from rooms.

By Car/Motorbike:: Alyki is situated on the main road that circumnavigates the island. Leaving the port, head towards Punda (about 7km from Parikia). Once past Punda, follow the signs to Alyki,or Angairia. Turn right at the sign for Alyki, and Paros airport. On your left hand side is the supermarket “Proton”. Turn left at the next road and continue on this road until you reach Evi Rooms.

Can you drink tap water?

It’s is best you don’t. Tap water is not dangerous for your health, but it does have a lot of minerals, so it’s advisable to drink bottled water. The management provides complementary bottled water.

Is there an internet connection?

There is free wi-fi access in all the rooms and in the garden. You can also ask at reception for complementary use of netbooks.

Which is the best beach for families with children?

Aliki has some of the most beautiful Paros beaches.

The central sandy beach of the village is frequented by many families with children, since it has a beach playground and seaside cafes & restaurants.

Pisso Aliki Beach, about 500m. from the village center, is also a favourite! It is quite big, with some trees for shade, very little traffic on the dirt road behind and a taverna with fresh fish and seafood.

What kind of activities are there nearby?

The area has many activities on offer!
Nearby there are a variety of water sports available, such as: Water Ski, Snorkelling, Scuba Diving and Kite Surfing.
Yoga: There is a yoga center in Alyki at the Yoga Paros Center, which has daily classes and also offers week long workshops on specific dates. All classes are given in English.
Footpaths:If you prefer to stay on land, Alyki has an old and well used network of walking trails, which are easy to spot and even easier to follow. Distances vary. Ask Ms. Stavroula for a map of the area and for useful advice on the routes best suited for you!

Is the accommodation pet-friendly?

Yes, pets are allowed upon request (at the time of booking). Please note, that pets need to be well-behaved and quiet and that they are not allowed on the beds.

Is there a childrens area?

Within the Evi Rooms garden there is a small open-air playground area. Children can play there freely during the day and enjoy their time on Paros Island.
