Alιki is the fourth largest village of the Island of Paros, after Parikia, Naoussa and Lefkes. It is located in a small bay at the southwest corner of the island, distinguished by numerous small fishing boats scattered in the bay.
Alιki was until recently a fishing village and is still home to many fishermen who continue supplying fresh fish and sea-food to the many tavernas along the sea-front
Alιki is a quiet place, ideal for family holidays with children. The charm and peacefulness of the village has been recently enhanced following a strict ban of all cars from the sea front.
The village celebrates the summer solstice on June 23 with fire jumping, live music and dancing. But the village festival is on the 6th of August when a large dance stage is set up on the central beach. Local musicians provide live music and all ages participate in the traditional and modern dancing. Other locals provide free food and drink, usually grilled small fish and local wine.
